Gapped Connectors

Definition

A starting hand of two cards whose ranks are separated by one or more ranks. For example, K J is a gapped connector, because the sequence K J is split by the queen. Such hands are also called “gappers”. Depending on the number of gaps between the hole cards, they are classified as one-gappers, two-gappers, three-gappers and so on.
