Heads-Up

Definition

A one-on-one poker format, or a situation at a table with several players when only two players remain in the hand. Many professional players consider heads-up the most difficult format. Playing one-on-one, you have to play many starting hands and make tough decisions postflop. So to play heads-up effectively, you need to be able to adjust to your opponent quickly, find their leaks and exploit them.
