The World Series of Poker, a series of poker tournaments held every year in Las Vegas and the biggest event in the poker world. Although there is no official world poker championship, the winner of the Main Event and holder of the WSOP gold bracelet is unofficially called the world champion. The first World Series of Poker was organized by Benny Binion in 1970 and consisted of just one table. By 2011 the WSOP already included 58 different events, including 7-Card Stud, Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, HORSE, mixed games and many more.
