A poker combination of four cards of the same rank, also known as four of a kind. It is the third-strongest of all combinations, beaten only by a Royal Flush and a Straight Flush. The highest quads are four aces: A A A A x, where x is any card, called the kicker. The probability of making any quads by the flop when holding a pocket pair is only 0.25%.
