Definition
A poker term for a board made up of cards of different suits. A flop with no two cards of the same suit makes neither a flush nor even a flush draw possible. An example of a rainbow: Ah 8d Js is a rainbow flop in which all cards are of different suits (hearts, diamonds and spades). Such a flop can only complete a potential flush if cards of the needed suit come on both the turn and the river.
