Definition

An emotional state of a poker player that leads to suboptimal play, a large number of mistakes and, as a result, frequent losses. This state can be triggered by a long losing streak, a single big loss or, conversely, by excessive luck and frequent wins. Tilt is considered a poker player’s worst enemy, which is why many techniques and training methods have been developed to cope with it.
