Definition

A loose-aggressive poker player who plays a wide range of hands preflop through open raises and 3-bets. To use this style effectively, a player must be excellent at postflop play. A good LAG is an experienced player who understands the situations that arise very well and can adapt to them. The loose-aggressive style is much harder than the tight-aggressive one (TAG), in which a player enters the hand with a narrow range of hands.
