Definition
A poker hand made up of five cards of the same suit. In strength, the flush ranks sixth, beating high card, one pair, two pair, three of a kind and a straight. Depending on the suit, there are heart, diamond, spade and club flushes, but the strength of the hand does not depend on the suit. If two or more players have a flush, the pot goes to the one with the higher flush – the hand containing the highest-ranking card.
