The amount you expect to win if the outs you need come on the later streets of the hand. Knowing your implied odds helps you make the right decision about when it is profitable to call with drawing hands and when it is better to fold them to an opponent’s bet. If you expect your opponent to be willing to pay a lot once your outs hit, you have good implied odds.
