Definition

A term for the prize zone of a poker tournament. A player who makes it ITM (“in the money”) is guaranteed a cash prize, and the higher they finish, the bigger the reward. ITM is also used to measure a player’s tournament performance: expressed as a percentage, it shows how often the player reaches the prize zone. In multi-table tournaments a good ITM is considered to be 18–25%, while in 9-max Sit & Go tournaments 30% is a good result.
