Double Barrel

Definition

A continuation bet on the turn after a first bet was made on the flop. The second barrel is often used as a bluff, since this move represents a very strong hand. If the opponent doesn’t fold on the turn and the player makes yet another bet on the river, that move is called a third barrel (triple barrel).
