Definition
One of the statistics that shows how often a player raises preflop (Pre-Flop Raise). It counts any bets made voluntarily preflop (raise, 3-bet, 4-bet), so the small and big blinds, which are mandatory, are not taken into account. Together with VPIP, PFR is a key parameter for identifying an opponent’s preflop playing style.
