Definition
The second most popular poker variant after Texas Hold’em. Its main feature and difference from Hold’em is that each player is dealt four cards, but only two hole cards are used to make a hand. Omaha is a more unpredictable and complex variant than Texas Hold’em, since the two extra cards widen the range of possible strong hands. Reading an opponent’s range is very difficult, so at Omaha tables players’ stacks are redistributed often and quickly.
