Definition
A term for cards of different suits. It is usually applied to describe starting hands in poker. Offsuit hole cards are marked with a lowercase “o” (short for “offsuit”); for example, KQo can be Ks Qd, Kh Qc, Kd Qh and so on. Compared with suited cards, offsuit hands are weaker because they have less chance of making a flush or a flush draw.
