M-Ratio

Definition

A metric showing the ratio of a player’s stack to the forced bets, including blinds and antes. M shows how many orbits (from the small blind to the button) a player can survive in a tournament without making voluntary bets before running out of chips. A high M means the player can afford to wait a long time before getting involved in a hand.
