Definition
All the hands an opponent can have at the current moment of play. The opponent’s hand range is the most important factor determining a player’s further actions. Poker also has the term “your own hand range”, the set of hands a player should enter a pot with. This range depends on many factors: position, the current street, the number of opponents, the actions of previous players, the size of the pot and so on.
