Definition

A poker variant in which each player receives seven cards and the hand is won by whoever makes the weakest hand by classic poker standards. Straights and flushes do not count in Razz, so the strongest hand is A 2 3 4 5. Thus the lowest card in this variant is the A. Paired cards sharply reduce a hand’s value: any five-card hand containing two cards of the same rank loses to a five-card hand of all different ranks.
