Definition
The final stage of a poker hand, in which the players still in the hand show their hole cards and the holder of the strongest combination takes the pot. If there was no aggressive action on the river, the first player to the left of the button shows first. If there were bets on the last betting round, the last player to bet or raise shows his cards first.
