Sit and Go

Definition

A type of poker tournament that starts as soon as the required number of players have registered. Such tournaments can be played at a single table or at several tables. SNG tournaments also differ in how fast the blinds go up: standard, turbo SNG and hyper-turbo SNG. The advantage of a Sit and Go over an MTT is that these tournaments start regularly, so there is no need to wait for a set time. Single-table SNGs have lower variance than multi-table tournaments.
