Cards of the same suit. This term can refer both to a player’s starting hand and to the board cards. For example, AhKh are suited pocket connectors. Suited cards have an advantage over offsuit ones – the chance of improving to a flush goes up. Suited hole cards can be abbreviated with the letter “s” (suited) after the card ranks; for example, AKs means suited ace-king.
